At The Hygge Farm we offer one on one half hour sessions with a suitable animal/s for $50 or if group bookings are made, we will be happy to discuss a group price.

The Hygge Farm´s animals are carefully selected and all animals have been very well handled which make it safe and easy make it easy for people to spend time with them.

When it comes to working with children with special needs, I have the necessary skills, experience and patience to ensure that each person enjoys the time spent with the animals.

Interacting with animals can have numerous benefits for individuals with cognitive and/or intellectual disabilities and/or communication needs. Our programs will be tailor made to the individual client, their needs and intended goals.

Interacting with animals can offer a variety of sensory experiences, such as touching, petting, and hearing the sounds that animals make. This sensory stimulation can help individuals with sensory processing disorders or other sensory-related challenges to regulate their sensory system, improve sensory integration skills, and increase sensory awareness.

Interacting with animals can also support cognitive development in individuals with cognitive and/or intellectual disabilities. Caring for animals can improve cognitive skills such as attention, problem-solving, memory, and sequencing. Learning about animals’ behaviors, habits, and needs can also enhance knowledge and understanding of the natural world.
