Our Animals
Bestla and Jasper
Bestla is named after Odin’s mum from Norse Mythology.
Bestla´s mum is a French mastiff called a Dogue de Bordeaux and her dad is a Great Dane cross with Cane Corso. (Italian mastiff) She was born on the 17th December 2016. She is a gentle giant.
Jasper is our Cocker Spaniel, full of love and joy and always up for a cuddle. Jasper is turning 2 this year.
Both the dogs are extremely good with kids and have been out to numerous schools and daycare centers and have been very popular amongst all as well as being very well loved by our son Njord.
Goats and Sheep
We are registered Australian miniature goat breeders and also have a few sheep that we breed. Most of them are very friendly and loves a cuddle!
Each of them has its own story, come and hear it 🙂
Horses and Mini Horses
We have 2 large horses, Silje and Lyric, as well as 2 small minature horses, Flame and Faxe.
Lyric is a Holsteiner gelding turning 10 this year. Very sweet nature but can get a little anxious at times in new situations. We have had Lyric since he was 3 years old.
Silje is our Percheron mare, she is turning 7 this year and is a French war horse. She is very brave and sweet. Her favorite thing is a bum scratch.
Flame and Faxe is mum and son. We got them nearly 2 years ago. They where saved from a large fire and ended up with us. Flame is very timid still, but Faxe loves attention 🙂
Rabbits and Guinea Pigs
We currently have 6 guinea pigs and 4 rabbits.
Chickens and Ducks
We have pekin bantam chickens and Muscovy ducks and sometimes they have chicks and ducklings and they are just the most adorable little creatures. ( This is seasonal)
